Bio:

Clavis was born in Sigil to his parents Avis and Elwyn. His parents were on the run from the Lady of Pain for blasphemy. During an attempted escape, the three year old Clavis was pushed through a mysterious portal while his parents fought off the agents of the Lady of Pain. They never made it through after their son.

Clavis was found a day later in the Feywild by a group of eladrin travelers. Curious as to why such a child was left, they took the child to an eladrin city bordering Athas. Clavis stayed with the eladrin for two years where he learned the basics of how to live the life of an eladrin. That life ended nearly as quickly as it started. During a trek outside the city, Clavis was kidnapped by foulspawn and dragged away to be sold off as a promising young slave. Slave traders from Athas purchased the young gith and crossed into the harsh world.

Clavis found himself a slave for four years until his owners were ambushed during a journey to Tyr. The caravan was raided by nomads looking for supplies and water. When the found the slave boy, they freed him and took him as one of their own.

Growing up with the nomads, Clavis learned the ways of the bow at an early age and provided to be a decent shot. It was not until he met Arvar that he learned the art of being a Seeker. He apprenticed with Arvar for a number of years until the night the nomads came under attack by halflings.

It was the first true test of handling himself in combat and Clavis did poorly. The halflings poured through the encampment like a sandstorm and slaughtered the inhabitants. Those who could get away from the attack, fled into the desert. Clavis fled as well, leaving the only parents and friends he knew to be eaten alive.
